1920s: Old Main
"Old Main" Early Summer 1926
From Left to Right: Vivian Varco, Lillian Hanson,
Lenora Olson, Sadie Busse, (unknown).
The new headquarters of the mission was a group of three
"summer" buildings: a cabin for lodging the staff, a rough storage
cabin, and a large 24'X72" main building (later called "Old
Main") used for the camp kitchen, the dining room, and as a
dormitory. None of these was insulated or designed for winter use.
