Sports can be a great opportunity for us to worship God through play as we exercise our bodies and use them in ways God intended. Aside from being a great means for building relationships and developing disciples, sports can also serve as a great entry point for evangelism and sharing the gospel. In that light, OHCC will be launching a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Management for fall 2015.
Did you know that every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood? 36 Oak Hills students and staff members rolled up their sleeves to help save lives when the Memorial Blood Centers mobile blood bank visited campus. Each pint of blood donated can help save the lives of up to three people. Visit www.mcb.org to find a blood bank near you.
Through the Student Outreach Program, Oak Hills Christian College students contribute an estimated 5,000 hours of volunteer work into the Bemidji and surrounding communities each year. On Thursday, April 30th students will be showcasing the work they’ve done throughout the semester with their outreach organizations. The Outreach Showcase will be held from 10-10:30am in the Fellowship Center on the Oak Hills campus.
