BEMIDJI, Minn–Oak Hills Christian College is pleased to welcome Jeremy Anderson to the departments of athletics and education. In addition to serving as the new Director of Athletics, Anderson will take on the role of program director for Oak Hills’ Sports Management major, which will be available for on-campus students beginning fall semester of 2015.
“The Oak Hills Christian College Athletic Department is pleased to have found someone with Jeremy’s skill-set, drive and passion for student-athletes to lead the Wolfpack,” said Michael Barnes, VP for Enrollment Management at Oak Hills. “Jeremy brings a load of Christian college experience to this position, which will assist in graduating student-athletes who are biblically centered and ready to serve in their chosen area.”
“I am looking forward to taking the Wolfpack athletic program to the next level and working with the tremendous staff already in place,” said Anderson, who has coached at colleges in Iowa, Kansas, Pennsylvania and South Dakota. Anderson comes to Oak Hills most recently from Corn, Oklahoma, where he was a high school athletic director and basketball coach at Corn Bible Academy. He received his B.S. in Psychology and Family Counseling from Barclay College in Haviland, Kansas, and his M.S. in Exercise Science from California University of Pennsylvania in California, Pennsylvania.
