Become a college student for a day!

Spend some time touring our lakeside campus and get a taste of what Oak Hills is really like.

Every college experience has its strengths and weaknesses. And every potential student has different things that they look for in the college they want to attend. After all, this is a significant decision in your life. How do you know whether a school is right for you?  Well, that's what a College Preview Day is all about! Get a feel for what it feels like to be a bona fide Oak Hills student for a couple of days. Stay in the dorms with current students, join in at meals and Chapel, attend a class, meet the staff and faculty, and much more!

Fast Facts about our Preview Days:
  • Attend a class: Choose one of  seven different classes offered and get a feel for what an Oak Hills education looks like! Experience firsthand how our highly educated professors integrate Biblical teaching into real-world jobs such as business or psychology.
  • Financial Aid Q&A:  Find out why Oak Hills is one of the least expensive Christian colleges in the country. Also, get all of your financial aid questions answered, including the availability of scholarships and grants.

  • Meet Your Advisor:  It doesn't matter whether you've known since you were six "what you want to be when you grow up" or you're still deciding - our academic advisors can assist you in what classes you might want to take and how you would be able to apply your major after graduation. Every advisor knows all of their students by name and takes the time to invest in you!

  • Dorm Life:  Every student who comes to a Preview Day will have the opportunity to spend a night in the dorms with a current student. Otherwise, you can choose to visit just for the day, or stay off-campus. Bemidji is home to many excellent hotels and inns!

Interested in becoming an Oakie for a day? Our Fall Preview Day is October 21st! If you have any questions, feel free to contact our admissions department at (866) 307-6422 or admissions@oakhills.edu. We look forward to spending time with you while you’re on campus!
