Grace Evangelical Church, a non-denominational, independent, Bible teaching and preaching church, is actively searching for the Pastor whom God has chosen to lead us into the future. Grace Evangelical Church is a unique, community oriented church desiring to draw people from throughout the area to be a part of our church family. Strathcona is a small town located in northwestern MN (east of Karlstad). We are a congregation of approximately 65 members with 40-50 people regularly attending Sunday morning worship. Our church was established over 75 years ago and has a strong foundation on preaching the Gospel.
Qualifications The Pastor will be responsible for the spiritual welfare of the church with the assistance of the Board. He shall seek to enlist people as followers of Christ, preach the gospel, administer the ordinances, and administer the spiritual activities of the church in cooperation with the Board and various committees. A degree in Christian Ministry from a reputable school is preferred and experience preaching in another church. Our loving and motivated congregation needs a dynamic visionary pastor to lead our church, as well as assisting in recruiting an army of young people for tomorrow.
