Epiphany Station launched nearly five years ago with a core group of thirty people which has since grown tenfold to an average attendance of 300 people, all while meeting in a renovated gas station in downtown Thief River Falls. Our mission is simple: Love God. Love people. Period. But our vision is God-sized: to embrace thousands of outsiders in an authentic community of faith where they will be turned inside-out by the life-transforming hope of Jesus Christ. We believe the next step in achieving our vision is to welcome a Children’s Pastor onto our team to help us disciple the 50+ children whose families currently call [e]stat home and the thousands more that we need to reach.
We are looking for a team leader who is passionate about working together with parents to disciple their children from birth through 5th grade. This is a part-time salaried pastoral staff position. If the Children’s Pastor is successful, he or she should be able to transition to full-time in 12-18 months.
|Qualifications||1.The right person will take ownership of the mission and vision God has given Epiphany Station and be passionate about reaching families that are far from God.
2.The right person must be someone who is excited about being part of a church family that isn’t perfect, doesn’t have it all figured out, but is willing to go wherever God leads and do whatever it takes to reach people that nobody’s reaching.
3.The right person will be a creative, innovative, out-of-the-box self-starter who desires excellence, but does not take him or herself too seriously.
4.The right person will have experience and/or education teaching in a classroom environment and/or leading children’s programs.
5.The right person will have knowledge of the Orange strategy of family ministry and a passionate desire to strategically implement and champion it.
