OAK HILLS SUFFERS TOUGH LOSS TO 3rd RANKED NAIA DI WILLIAM PENN UNIVERSITY

Oak Hills Christian lost the first game of the Israel Stong Classic in Aberdeen, SD to a top ranked William Penn University 106-84. After trailing at the half 55-28, the Wolfpack outscored the Statesmen 56-51 in the second half to come up on the short end in the battle against the NAIA DI Powerhouse. The Wolfpack shot 17/39 from the three point line for the game to keep them in the game. The Pack was led by Sophomore Duke Abalos with 28 points going 8/15 behind the three point line. Sophomore Ronnie Jackson added 17 on 5/8 from the three point line. Junior Blake Dragt and Freshman Jaren Brooks added 7 boards apiece.

The loss drops the Wolfpack to 1-7 (1-1) on the year and they are back at it tomorrow when they face Presentation College at 3 PM in the second game of the Israel Strong Classic hosted by the Saints.
