Reller to Run for Oak Hills

Athletic Director Jeremy Anderson is pleased to announce that 2017 Melrose High School graduate, Brandon Reller, has signed his Letter of Intent to run for the Wolfpack this Fall. Reller ran cross country and track and field for Melrose and was involved in many other school activities. “Brandon Reller is a high-character student that helps make a program thrive. We are privileged to have Brandon for the next four years and are excited about his bright future” states Oak Hills Cross Country Coach Matt Myrick.

FREYHOLTZ WINS NATIONAL TITLE FOR OAK HILLS CROSS COUNTRY

Oak Hills Christian College had three runners compete in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division II National Cross Country meet in Clinton, MS. The Men’s team was represented by Bemidji’s Billy Freyholtz who out ran the field of 50 runners to win the National Championship with an 8K time of 27:45. The 5:35 per mile pace was good enough to have a winning margin of 25 seconds. Freyholtz was also named to the NCCAA DII All-American team. “We are so proud of Billy” Athletic Director Jeremy Anderson stated. “He represented Oak Hills and the Bemidji community with such class all season. It’s also a nice honor to have a National Champion during our first year ever having a cross country program.”

ST. BONIFACIUS — The Oak Hills Christian College men’s and women’s cross country teams opened their seasons last Saturday at the Crown College Invite in St. Bonifacius. Two runners were able to qualify for nationals despite the wet and muddy conditions.
