a letter from the vp of enrollment

Oak Hills has seen many changes over the course of my four years here.  I watched the raising of Thompson Hall, renovations to the rest of campus, and the installment of new technology. All these changes have taken Oak Hills into the next era of college life. In this theme of change, we are introducing new methods to the recruiting process as well. We have a new face on the team, Zach Northenscold, and we are exploring new venues for connecting with prospects. We hope our changes to recruiting result in our incoming students seeking to deepen their faith, engage in intentional learning, and prepare for impacting their world in a Christ-like way.

I believe the changes we have made in how we recruit will result in growth! It saddens me to tell you that all across the United States, colleges large and small are continuing to see drops in enrollment. A major cause is the cost of a private education. The cost of education continues to rise while the dollars available stay stagnant. Technical colleges are once again in the picture. However, as an alumnus and supporter of Oak Hills, you know the value of a biblical education. You understand what it really means to do Kingdom work. Your support allows us to recruit, give scholarships, and provide our region with enthusiastic, God-honoring graduates.  Please know your gift is important. As the Vice President for Enrollment, I pray for your continued blessings.

God Bless,

Mike Rasch
