Overview of Biblical Studies

The world today is constantly challenging our beliefs in the Bible. Those who want to teach the Bible need to be equipped to handle the challenges presented in our world. This program will provide you with extensive knowledge and understanding of the Bible and its application to the world in which we live.

You will gain the confidence to teach the message of the biblical text to others and will be able to stand firm against the assault the world will bring against your faith.

Those who are passionate about studying the Bible in an in-depth manner. Those seeking a Bachelor of Arts degree for future employment opportunities.

Career Paths

You’ll be prepared for employment in churches, para-church organizations, or other workplaces in which a Bachelor degree is necessary. This program also provides a strong foundation for those wanting to go on to seminary or graduate school.

Curriculum

Each academic program of the college provides the context for whole life transformation through biblical life preparation. Students come to learn, learn to serve, and serve to change lives. Through the courses offered in each program, students will develop a Christ-centered worldview and be prepared to make a difference in the world through their lives, work and service to others.

The courses of study in each degree proceed from foundational to exploratory to immersion courses. Areas of study for each degree will include general education, biblical studies, Christian ministry and service, and core courses in the major.

Students will be challenged to grow in their knowledge of self, others, the world and the Bible. They will be challenged to grow in their critical
thinking, development of a biblical worldview and the integration of their faith and learning.
