Rural Impact Leadership Conference

This one-day leadership training event for ministry leaders & pastors serving rural & small-town churches is a partnership between our Church Ministries team and the Evangelical Covenant Church’s NW Conference leadership, hosted at Alexandria Covenant Church on March 18, 2023. Our Martin Giese was the opening speaker in 2022, and Glenn Daman – pastor from Stevenson, WA & author of “The Forgotten Church” will be our 2023 opening speaker. Last year’s videos are available & online participation is an option, as well.

Northwest Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church

Our Church Ministries team has entered into a new ministry partnership with the Northwest Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church (search for Stories/Webinars), in providing Rural Ministry training to their pastors & lay leaders through online webinars. Martin Giese, Rick Weinert, Mark Hovestol, & Jim Hodgson join their NW Conference team in providing these online & recorded training sessions every other month.

Oak Hills co-hosted with CHIEF the first United in Christ conference in 2017, an international conference for people involved in Native & First Nations ministry and those wanting to get involved, along with regional United conferences in 2018. The 2nd United in Christ national conference was held in July 2021 on Oak Hills Christian College’s campus, with the video links below.

Oak Hills Fellowship and Minnesota Church Ministries Association partner together to provide this one-day conference that will ignite those serving in your church with renewed vision, energy, and practical solutions for the task of making disciples.

Our Church Ministries team is providing a new online ministry training resource for pastors  & lay leaders that we’re calling “EQUIP Seminars”. These will be offered 6 times per year on Saturday mornings through Zoom video conferencing & posted for use.
