Building Long-Term Financial Strength

Purpose: Retire all operational indebtedness and establish a financial reserve to prepare for debt-free ministry operations in the future.

At Oak Hills Christian College, we believe that financial freedom is essential for ministry effectiveness. One of the most significant steps we can take to ensure long-term sustainability is to eliminate operational debt and establish a reserve fund that supports stability through every season.

Like many colleges, our income is received in large portions at specific times of the year—such as student tuition at the start of each semester—while our expenses remain constant month to month. Our vision is to create a healthy financial foundation that allows us to navigate these natural rhythms without relying on borrowing. With a strong reserve in place, we’ll be better equipped to cover regular expenses in a timely and responsible way, providing a more stable footing for the college’s operations.

Being debt-free isn’t just a financial strategy; it’s a ministry strategy. It allows us to direct more resources to what truly matters—our students, our community, and our Kingdom impact—while building a foundation of faithfulness and stewardship that will serve generations to come.
