Behavioral Health Practitioner

Hope House is seeking an employee to help adults with mental illness remain hospital-free and live well in the community.  Employee will provide support and skills training via client home, community, and office meetings, intervene as needed when clients have symptoms, and work both independently and in team settings. Employee will document and bill for provided services. Employee will keep in contact with Hope House staff, case management, adult foster care homes, and supervisor to maintain consistency with clients. Employee will participate in training at hire, and ongoing as scheduled.

Applicant needs degree in psychology, applied psychology, social work, or related behavioral health field (Pay range $19.12/hour to $23.84/hour), or be a student within one year of graduation from a behavioral health field ($18.46/hour). Personal qualities needed include honesty, communication, healthy boundaries, self-care, calm, welcoming, growth-oriented, and adaptable. Preference for applicants who can stay on for 3 or more years of employment. This stability helps clients improve quickly.
