A thriving rural church in the beautiful woodlands of MN

12-16 hrs/week (negotiable). Mid-April 2024 through mid-August 2024 (negotiable). Housing and Semi-Monthly stipend provided, will also assist intern in finding other paid work in the area.

Are you interested in a spring-summer youth ministry internship in the lovely northwoods of Minnesota near the legendary Lake Vermilion? Join the team at First Baptist Church of Cook MN and gain valuable ministry experience in a beautiful location at a thriving rural church.

Ministry Intern will work with existing Youth Ministry volunteers and Pastors in the following:
-Organize and lead Wednesday youth group gatherings for 6th-12th graders during spring months.
-Plan and teach Sunday School classes for junior high or high school students during spring months.
-Organize and lead weekly Bible studies for 6th-12th grade students during the summer months.
-Help with weeklong summer VBS for elementary students while helping manage youth volunteers.
-Plan youth fellowship events as desired.
-Assist Pastors with Sunday morning worship as needed.

*Please note: The above responsibilities will not fall solely on the Youth Ministry Intern, but the intern will work alongside existing volunteers and be trained and supervised by the Pastors of First Baptist Church.
