Oak Hills Christian College is excited to announce that there will be a restructuring within the athletic department for the 2020-2021 academic year. The college administration has encouraged growth of student enrollment within the athletic department, so we are adjusting our recruiting efforts and additional coaching responsibilities are needed. Men’s Basketball Coach, Jeremy Anderson, will reposition within the department to coach on the women’s side along with his duties as Athletic Director. With that said, we are excited to announce the hiring of Dalton Miller as Head Men’s Basketball Coach. “Coach Miller brings a renewed energy to grow the program which we are really excited about” states Anderson. “His experience as a student-athlete, assistant coach, and head coach at Christian universities will assist him with his recruitment of mission fit basketball players. Coach Miller is a coach that we couldn’t pass up. He has a passion for Christ that is infectious and his desire to mentor his students and push them to be their very best is truly inspiring.”
Miller started his college career playing at Southwestern Christian University (Bethany, OK) and transferred to Manhattan Christian College (Manhattan, KS) to finish his playing career. He had stints as an Assistant Basketball Coach at his alma mater, Manhattan Christian College, and Presentation College (Aberdeen, SD) and was most recently the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Dallas Christian College (Dallas, TX). Coach Miller graduated from MCC with a BS in Biblical Leadership and is currently pursuing his MS in Sports Administration from Arkansas State University.
Dalton will be relocating to Bemidji along with his wife Mikayla and their 10 month old daughter Brexley.
