Every student in a four year program at Oak Hills Christian College is required to take 2 credits of intercultural outreach. This course provides an opportunity for our students to participate in structured and guided learning and service ministry projects that address multicultural issues relevant to American and global societies.
This Fall intercultural outreach students traveled to Minneapolis for a long weekend in October. Thanks to the coordinating assistance of Bethany International, 12 students and 2 staff were able to engage in conversation with Somalian, Tibetan, Rwandese, Chinese and Hmong people. It was a full weekend and everyone came away with a new appreciation of our culturally diverse neighbors.
