Tuesday, November 07, 2017

2017 has been another stellar year for the Oak Hills Christian College Wolfpack Cross Country Program. The Men’s team, led by Sophomore All-American and Bemidji High School graduate Billy Freyholtz, will be competing in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division II National Cross Country Championships hosted by Belhaven University in Jackson, MS. The meet is this Saturday, November 11, 2017. Joining Freyholtz in the quest for the men’s team championship are Joseph Weeks (Bemidji, MN), Dezmond Ramirez (Bemidji, MN), Landon Peterson (Bagley, MN), Brandon Reller (Melrose, MN), and Timothy Kue (Sioux Falls, SD).

Freyholtz, currently with the top 8K time in the country for NCCAA DII, will be attempting to repeat as the DII national champion. Last year he gave Oak Hills its first National Champion when he bested the field by over 30 seconds.
