Oak Hills Christian College is proud to announce the newest addition to the Admissions Team. As an admissions counselor, Matt will be responsible for
the field recruitment of future OHCC students. He will assist prospective students and their families in understanding what Oak Hills has to offer
and discern if OHCC is a good fit for their future goals.
Matt was born and raised in Warroad, MN and graduated from Bemidji State University with a B.S. in Economics. He comes from a sales and business development background and hopes to harness that experience in a way that brings glory to the name of our savior, Jesus Christ at Oak Hills. Matt loves all outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, fitness and horseback riding.
Matt has several familial connections to Oak Hills as well. His mother, Tammy, is an OHCC alumna from the class of '79. Matt's wife, Shelbi, currently studies Applied Psychology at Oak Hills and hopes to work as a social worker upon graduation.
"Matt's exuberance, coupled with his knowledge of the sales cycle will assist Oak Hills' growth in the future," said Oak Hills VP for Enrollment, Michael Barnes. "He is a strategic thinker who connects well with people. We are excited to add Matt to our team."
