Bemidji, MN- Oak Hills Christian College is excited to announce that Nyla Gomes has signed her Letter of Intent to play volleyball for the Wolfpack.  Gomez resides in Agua Dulce, TX.  She is a 5’2” libero who played her high school volleyball at Agua Dulce High School (Agua Dulce, TX) for Coach Klara Calves.

Oak Hills Christian College Athletic Director, Jeremy Anderson, says, “Nyla will be a valued member of our Wolfpack family.  Nyla will bring the desire to compete at a high level.  She not only is a gifted athlete but also enjoys the arts which is exciting.  Nyla enjoys painting and photography and we look forward to using those talents to enhance our campus. Coach Calves stressed one dream, one team, one community which is something that we stress here at OHCC as well.”

Gomez will major in Sports Management when she arrives on campus.  She states this when asked why she chose OHCC.  “I like the small class sizes, the volleyball program, and the Christian values that OHCC offers.”

Welcome to the Wolfpack Family Nyla!  We’re excited you are joining our campus community.
